Overview

This project was a conceptual redesign of the Anime Expo program guide, focused on improving clarity and usability. Previous guides were nearly 100 pages long and often overwhelming for attendees to navigate. My goal was to streamline the experience with a cleaner layout, simplified structure, and intuitive content flow.

Key improvements included consistent section headers, a more readable table of contents, and the strategic use of QR codes to connect attendees directly to digital maps, event schedules, and exhibitor lists. This approach allowed the printed guide to remain compact and focused while enhancing functionality through digital integration.

The final design balances fun, energy, and accessibility — capturing the spirit of Anime Expo while making it easier for attendees to explore everything the event has to offer.
